Ikette & Oprah Winfrey Network Star Miss Robbie Montgomery Of Welcome To Sweetie Pie’s Added To Tina Turner Heritage Days
Cooking up what is sure to be the best Tina Turner Heritage Days to date, the Oprah Winfrey Network Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s star and former Ikette Miss Robbie Montgomery will be signing her latest book Sweetie Pie’s Cookbook at the Tina Turner Museum during the fifth annual celebration on Saturday, September 24th at 2 PM.
“We are honored that Miss Robbie is taking time out of her busy schedule to make a stop at our fifth annual Tina Turner Heritage Days,” says West Tennessee Delta Heritage Center Executive Director Sonia Outlaw-Clark. “Her soul food recipes are sure to be a hit in the fans households and her stories as a back-up singer and dancer for our hometown icon are going to create a priceless event for Tina’s most devoted fans.”
Fans can attend the conversation with Miss Robbie Montgomery and acquire an autographed copy of her latest book on site at the West Tennessee Delta Heritage Center on Saturday, September 24th beginning at 2PM. To get a full overview of the weekend’s activities, see below:
Friday, September 23rd

2 PM – Miss Robbie Montgomery – Ikette and OWN Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s star book signing.
Off Site
8 AM – 12 PM – Tours of Tina’s childhood communities (Nutbush, former homes, church, etc.)
Tours will depart from the WTDHC.
Two tour options will be offered.
7 PM – Tina Tribute Show at Carver High School gymnasium (Tina’s high school).

8:30 AM – Woodlawn Missionary Baptist Church service (Tina’s former place of worship)
Tickets to the event can be purchased on site or in advance at www.tinaturnerheritagedays.com. Packages including a tour and admission to the nightly show are available for $30. Separately, tour tickets are $10 each and a seat at the tribute show are $20 each.
