The City of Brownsville recently issued a Call to Artist for the creation of a wayfinding system featuring metal sculpture as sign placeholders. The project is funded through a $35,000 Delta Regional Authority (DRA) Creative Placemaking Grant. Artists living in the Delta Region were eligible to apply.

Winning submissions and artists will be announced Monday, October 1, 1 p.m., at the Brownsville City Hall. The media and public are invited to learn more about the project and meet the artists.

Partnering with the City of Brownsville for this project are the Brownsville Arts Council, Main Street Brownsville and Tennessee College of Applied Technology.
