Holiday in Haywood kicks off Christmas shopping season in Brownsville
BROWNSVILLE, TN (October 28, 2017): Those looking for unique holiday gift items will have the perfect opportunity during the 10th Annual Holiday in Haywood two-day shopping mart planned for November 10-11, in Brownsville, Tenn. “Holiday in Haywood” features retail and specialty merchants offering a variety of items perfect for your holiday gift giving. This year’s event will be held at the West Tennessee Delta Heritage Center, 121 Sunny Hill Cove, and there is no admission fee.
(Photo, above) Shoppers at Holiday in Haywood will have lots to choose from this year during the two-day event planned for November 10-11 at the Delta Heritage Center in Brownsville.
“If you’re looking to get a head start on your holiday shopping,” says Heather Smith, Holiday in Haywood coordinator, “this is the perfect place to start.”
The shopping will begin Friday from noon until 7 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., giving shoppers plenty of time to make their choices. The Delta Heritage Center is located just off of Interstate 40 at Exit 56 and easily accessible.
Many of your favorite merchants will be back with handcrafted jewelry, candles, culinary goodies including jams and ciders, ladies clothing, and wood-crafted items. New items this year includes women’s self defense products, handcrafted baby items, blankets and quilts, among many others.
Santa will make his first Brownsville appearance Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m., according to Smith. Parents are invited to bring your cameras to capture the moment.
