10th Annual “Phenomenal Women Speak” Women’s History Program

BROWNSVILLE TN (March 11, 2024): The West Tennessee Delta Heritage Center, Brownsville TN, will present its annual Women’s History Month program Phenomenal Women Speak. Hosted by noted author, Haywood County native and cultural historian, Dr. Cynthia Bond Hopson, the event will take place Saturday, March 16, at 2 pm, at the Ann Marks Performing Arts Center located on the campus of the Historic College Hill Complex.

This will mark the 10th year that local trailblazers and leaders share and discuss lessons learned and lived. This year’s theme is “Treasured Lessons to Live By.” The panel of speakers includes Amber Clark, Shannon Taylor-Davis. Eliza Ford, Brenda Dancy Jarrett, Nicole Bond Johnson, Amie Marsh and Tanesha Walker.

“We are proud to recognize and appreciate the amazing women who help make Haywood County a great place to live, work, and build strong families,” explains Dr. Hopson. “Their humility, grace, and kindness are a gentle reminder that through faith and hope phenomenal women love, learn, lead, and live triumphantly.”

This program is an official event of Brownsville Tennessee’s Bicentennial Celebration and all past participants are invited to attend and be recognized. The event is free and open to everyone.
