Emergency Preparedness Classes
Be prepared, not scared.
The Brownsville-Haywood County Emergency Management Agency will be hosting Emergency Preparedness Classes.
Come and learn how to prepare your home and family for emergencies and disasters!
Things covered will be:
• PERSONAL SAFETY
• ACTIVE SHOOTER RESPONSE
• FIRE SAFETY
• FIRE EXTINGUISHER TRAINING
• SEVERE WEATHER SAFETY
• EARTHQUAKE SAFETY
• HAZARDOUS MATERIALS SAFETY
Classes are FREE !!! Lunch and door prizes will be given.
Classes will be held September 14th and again on September 28th from 11am until 2pm at the Emergency Operations Center at 111 North Washington Avenue, in the basement of City Hall. The entrance is next to the Fire Department.
