Pursuant to Tennessee Code Annotated Section 13-7-203, a 15-day notice is hereby given of public hearings to be held by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen of Brownsville, Tennessee on the 11th day of April 2023 at 5:30 PM at Brownsville City Hall. The hearings are to receive public input on amending the City of Brownsville’s Municipal Zoning Map by reclassifying the following properties:

1) AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CITY OF BROWNSVILLE MUNICIPAL ZONING MAP REZONING TAX PARCELS 017.05 AND A PORTION OF 017.00 LOCATED ON ANDERSON AVENUE FROM R-1A (MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL AND GC (GENERAL COMMERCIAL) TO GC (GENERAL COMMERCIAL) OWNED BY HOWARD JARRAT.

2) AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CITY OF BROWNSVILLE MUNICIPAL ZONING MAP REZONING TAX PARCELS 013.00, 014.00, AND 015.01, HAYWOOD COUNTY TAX MAP 074H, GROUP “A” FROM R-1 (LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL) TO GC (GENERAL COMMERCIAL) LOCATED ON HIGHWAY 70 EAST OWNED BY JOEY CONNOR
