PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE

The City of Brownsville will conduct a series of Public Meetings to provide information to the public on the Tennessee Department of Environment & Conservation’s Recreation Education Services Parks and Recreation Grants and the City’s plan to apply for this funding. Citizens are encouraged to attend and comment on proposed projects.

There are multiple ways in which the public can participate and provide comments on the proposed project.

1. Attend the In-Person Public Meeting at the Brownsville City Hall on Monday, May 13, 2024, at 5:00 PM. The Brownsville City Hall is located at 15 East Main St.
2. A social media Public Meeting will be held on the City of Brownsville Facebook Page (https://www.facebook.com/brownsvilletn ). Project information will be posted for public comment on or by May 6, 2024.
3. Request a project information packet from Ms. Crystal Matthews. Comments should be submitted by May 13, 2024, at 4:00 PM. Ms. Matthews can be reached by emailing City Hall at [email protected].
