Save the Date! You’re invited to the screening of the documentary film “The Steel Garden” Friday evening, February 23, 6:30 pm at the Ann Marks Performing Arts Center in Brownsville.

The film is directed by Haywood County native Randall Kendrick and takes a look at Billy Tripp and the evolution of his ‘Mindfield’ sculpture. Immediately following the screening, Kendrick and Dr. Beth Shaw Tripp will do a Q&A with the audience.

This is a Bicentennial event of the City of Brownsville and is free and open to the public, giving our community an opportunity to experience the film before it is released publicly.

The film has been well received at film festivals and won Best Documentary at the Hub City Film Festival in Jackson TN.
