Commissioner McWhorter to Participate in Enchem America Inc. Announcement in Brownsville, Tuesday, June 27, 2023
(TNECD) Commissioner Stuart McWhorter will join Enchem America Inc. officials in Brownsville tomorrow, Tuesday, June 27, 2023, to announce the company’s $152.5 million investment in Tier 4, At-Risk Haywood County.
Through the project, Enchem will establish its second U.S. manufacturing operations at the I-40 Advantage Industrial Park where the company will manufacture electrolytes for electric vehicle (EV) batteries as well as other EV battery-related services. The project will create 190 new jobs in Brownsville.
