The Board of Directors of the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce executives announced that it has nominated Steve Hilton to serve on the board as a member at large to represent the Chambers of Commerce across the state. The nomination will be voted on by the general membership at the annual summer conference in Maryville in August. TCCE was organized to enhance the professional growth and development of Chamber executives, staff, and volunteers in the State of Tennessee, working to foster the professional development of Chamber of Commerce executives and staff and enhance the status of Chambers of Commerce in the State and nation.
“I am honored to be asked to serve on the board and to further the cause of the Chamber state wide. I have been able to help in West Tennessee as the president of the West Tennessee Chamber Executives, and this will allow me to be more involved in the decisions which affect the Chamber all across the state.” said Hilton. “I am proud and excited to represent Brownsville and Haywood County as a state board member.”
The organization meets August 23rd through the 25th in Maryville, and Hilton will be sworn in at that meeting if approved by the general membership.
