Meet & Greet – Author Cheryl Wills
Please join us this Monday, July 24 at 5 p.m., as we welcome award-winning journalist and author Cheryl Wills to Brownsville.
Cheryl is a journalist and news anchor for NY1 in New York and has traced her ancestors back to Haywood County, Tennessee, where one escaped from slavery and fought with the United States Colored Troops during the Civil War. She’s written a book about it and is also working on a documentary. She will be in Brownsville for the first time on Monday to visit some of the places she has learned about through her family research.
